Clipper Models – Terms of Service

Welcome to Clipper Models. By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read carefully before using our site or purchasing products.

1. General

Clipper Models (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates this website and provides related products and services. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, customers, and contributors.

By using our site or placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if younger);

  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations; and

  • You accept these Terms in full.

Failure to comply may result in termination of your access or refusal of service.

2. Orders & Quotes

  • Custom orders are any product or project specifically designed to your request, including modifications of existing models or new builds.

  • All quotes for custom orders are binding once confirmed in writing and after receipt of the deposit.

  • Standard products are subject to availability and may be limited in quantity. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing their order details carefully before confirming. Once an order is placed, changes may be limited or unavailable.

3. Deposits & Payments

  • Deposits are always non-refundable. This applies to all custom and pre-ordered projects.

  • Deposits secure your production slot and cover costs of materials and preparation.

  • Production on custom orders will not begin until the deposit is received and confirmed.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full before shipment or delivery.

  • Accepted payment methods will be displayed during checkout or communicated via invoice.

4. Pricing & Changes

  • Standard product prices may change at any time without notice.

  • For custom orders, the total cost is fixed once the written quote is accepted and the deposit is paid.

  • Errors in pricing or product descriptions will be communicated promptly. We reserve the right to cancel orders affected by such errors, though deposits will remain non-refundable.

  • Any additional costs (shipping, taxes, or custom modifications requested after deposit) will be clearly communicated and must be approved by the customer.

5. Production & Delivery

  • Estimated production times will be provided for custom orders but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to supply chain issues, printing problems, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Customers will be notified of significant delays.

  • Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping information is correct.

6. Shipping & Risk

  • Orders are shipped on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Please plan accordingly.

  • Shipping is generally handled via [insert carrier], and delivery times are estimates only.

  • Once an order is shipped, Clipper Models is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments caused by the carrier.

  • Customers may be responsible for customs fees, duties, or import taxes if applicable.

  • We recommend using tracking and insurance for higher-value orders.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Custom orders are final sale. Once production has begun, no refunds or cancellations will be issued.

  • Deposits are always non-refundable, even if the customer cancels before production begins.

  • Standard products may be returned within 14 days if unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Any approved cancellations of standard products will be processed promptly, minus applicable shipping costs.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, models, images, content, and documentation on this site are the property of Clipper Models.

  • Customers may not copy, reproduce, resell, or distribute any of our intellectual property without written permission.

  • Customers purchasing our products obtain a license for personal, non-commercial use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Clipper Models is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, delays, or misuse of products.

  • Maximum liability for any order is limited to the total amount paid for that order.

  • This limitation applies even if Clipper Models was advised of potential damages or loss.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in accordance with Colorado law.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website.

  • Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  • Customers are encouraged to review Terms periodically.
